I was painting tulips today.

4 in x 6 in Fabriano Venezia Sketchbook, Winsor & Newton and Grumbacher watercolors (note ribbon bookmark surprise appearance)

9 in x 12 in Strathmore 400 Series 60 lbs sketchbook, Pentel Color Brushes

3 in x 4.5 in Yupo paper, Daniel Smith watercolors

The Yupo paper I purchased last week when DH needed some colored pencils. When we walked in to the Dick Blick store, we found out everything was 20 % off that day, plus I got a free sketchbook (like I need one), a 40 % off coupon (hence the Yupo paper) PLUS another 10 % with a Dick Blick Preferred customer card.

These are lovely! Love how each one is treated a little differently... same overall theme, but not the same.

I love the last one the best, but the others are good too. I love tulips but they don't last long in the vase - better to paint 'em eh?

Thanks for the comments - I do like tulips but they never last.
