Virtual Paintout - Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez Terminal 2 Puerta 3

6in x 12in Canson 90lbs watercolor paper, PITT pen, Copic marker, Cretacolor Graphit Aquarell and Aqua Monolith

Another submission for December 2009 Virtual Paintout.
Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez, Terminal 2, Puerta 3. And yes, the Google Map people went inside the terminals. I used Cretacolor Graphit Aquarell and Aqua Monolith for the first time. I previously had not used a Copic marker in a drawing. I wanted a bright color for the taxis as I planned the rest of the drawing to be in gray. The Cretacolors and Copic were an experiment I extremely happy with.

What an interesting and wonderful composition and rendering! I love this!

This very effective. I love the fact that it's all monochrome apart from the taxis. Cars are so hard to do - you nailed it!

This fabulous. I like the dozing cab drivers.

Oh man, I was so fascinated by the great texture in the background I had to go back and look at the cab drivers! The mixed media looks great. The orange pops out against the grays. Nice.

Well done... interesting point of view, strong design. Love your choice to add that little red fire extinguisher - just right.
